Design
This is a truly handmade Sterling silver gents ring with a mechanical flavor in a solitaire design # 502 of my online style selection catalog. This modern tech style ring showcases the gem in an open and low profile mount utilizing no basket. Flanked by two studs and protected by the 3 tiered band then secured by two partial bezels. Most of the gem is visible as it is only touched by the metal in four places. The band is created with the look of being built from flat sections separated by stud post and held together by eight screws, however, it is actually smithed in the traditional manner, the screws cannot turn as they are an ornamental feature only.
Gemstones
The feature gem is a 10.7 x 8.1 mm nicely hand faceted oval that weighs 4.52 carat with just slightly included clarity and a nice sparkle. This is naturally mined Orange Spessartite with moderate clarity, had no heating, a completely natural gemstone. The color of this impressive stone is a well saturated medium orange color, with bright flashes of yellowish orange in the light. Garnet is the birthstone for January.

This hand crafted ring is a size 10¾ in the USA, inside diameter of 0.802 inches or 20.37mm, the inside circumference is 2.52 inches or 64mm, in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand it is a size V, in India, China and Japan it is a size 22.5, and in Switzerland it is a size 23.9.

Re-sizing one of our rings can often be done quite easily by hammering and re-polishing when only increasing by a size or so and there will be no noticeable delay in the shipping time. When we need to have the size decreased at all or increased by more than about one size then I have to ask you to be patient as it will need to re-enter the queue and will be ready for shipping in about 30 days. Right after you make the purchase be sure to message me about the new size before I have a chance to ship.

When we use stones from our store for your custom order we back them for the purchase price. We do not guarantee or insure a stone that we did not sell. That said, it is not common that one breaks or is damaged in setting.
Metal choices
We are happy to make you a custom piece of jewelry with Sterling 925 silver or 18K yellow gold. You may also request that we use 999 silver or 965 yellow gold. Furthermore, you may decide on a combination of our metals such as a gold bezel in a silver ring.
