The solitaire gem is a natural and untreated Ruby with Zoisite measuring 21 x 9 mm. I do not know the weight as I mounted it without having weighed it first, oops. The reddish purple is Ruby while the green is the matrix stone called Zoisite that the Ruby naturally occurred within. This unique gem material originated in Africa and has only been cut and polished, no treatments. This mounting is about 40 mm tall. It will accommodate your chain up to approximately 3.25 mm. Ruby is the birthstone of July babies. The weight of this handsome stick pendant is about 5 grams.
