Design
This classic is a truly hand-hammered ladies ring with a formal look in a split band, halo style design # 54 of our online design selection catalog. The halo follows the shape of the prong set feature gem giving the ring a well dressed look. The halo gems on the head are prong set in individual tubes for maximum visibility. The base under the head array is slotted and the head is elevated above the split band as well to allow extra light entrance into the array of gems.
Gemstones
The main gemstone is a Trapiche Ruby from Burma. This is a rare gem with a fixed six ray star, does not float on the surface but is stationary and goes all the way through the gem crystal. This colorful gem is opaque and has been traditionally heated to brighten the color. (We also have dark colored unheated Trapiche Ruby in stock.) This gems is a 4.4 mm round weighing .45 carat. The halo of round gems is made from heated Ceylon white Sapphires, flashy well cut VVS natural gemstones in a 2 mm size.

This hand crafted ring is a size 9 in the USA, inside diameter of 0.746 inches or 18.95mm. The inside circumference is 2.34 inches or size 59.5 mm in Thailand and France. In the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand it is a size R½ while in India, China and Japan it is a size 18 and in Switzerland it is a size 19.6.

Re-sizing one of our rings can often be done quite easily by hammering and re-polishing when only increasing by a size or so and there will be no noticeable delay in the shipping time. When we need to have the size decreased at all or increased by more than about one size then I have to ask you to be patient as it will need to re-enter the queue and will be ready for shipping in about 14 days. Right after you make the purchase be sure to message me about the new size before I have a chance to ship.
