This is a natural and untreated Apatite that is a bright color often called a neon blue green. This sought after color is also seen in top color copper-bearing Paraiba Tourmalines. Apatite has a hardness of 5 in Moh’s scale, it is a soft gem but is still suitable for crafting lower wear items such as pendants, pins and earrings.
This stone is a hand cut pear shape that measures 9 x 7.1mm and weighs 1.52 carat. It is an eye clean VS clarity stone.
The entire piece measures 21 mm in length and will accommodate up to 2.75 mm diameter size chains.
