Here is a classic design in a solitaire unisex gemstone pendant crafted in style # 244 of our online design selection catalog. The feature gem is prong set with six prongs into a low, solid pocket, a secure mount that leaves most of the gem on display. The back is open to allow additional light entrance. The convex bail is rigid.
Specifics:
The gemstone is a Tiger’s Eye from Burma. It is natural and untreated also is a favorite choice of a many people due to its play of light when turned. It measures about 12.5 x 11mm and weighs 5.02 carat.
The entire piece measures 22mm in length and will accommodate up to 2.75mm diameter size chains.
We started this project by melting down fine silver and pure copper to create an ingot of 93% silver alloy. Consequently our alloys are a little on the rich side of .925 Sterling. Copper alone is the remaining 7%. We do not add base metal in our alloy so there is less chance for any allergic reaction.
