Design:
This pendant design is # 379 of our online style selection catalog. It displays the feature gem in a central elevated tier position with a four prong mount. A halo of bead set accent gems wrapping the feature stone makes up the next tier down. These top two stories are suspended by four short bridges from the mainframe to allow plenty of light to enter the stones from the sides and the open back. The bail allows the pendant to dangle and is ornately ribbed and scalloped.
Specifics:
The feature gem is a large light blue green Aquamarine with VS eye clean clarity. It is a natural gem with no heat or other treatment that I bought just outside the mine in Cambodia. It weighs 3.28 carat and is a long cushion rectangle cut measuring 16.7 x 5.6 mm.
The 18 accents are 2.4 mm light blue green Aquamarine Beryl that are eye clean. These accents come from Brazil and were heated.
The entire piece measures about 47 mm from top to bottom. The bail allows the pendant to dangle and it will accommodate your chain up to approximately 5.5 mm. It weighs about 11.2 grams.
